Addressing the issue of Jealousy in the church amongst believers

There is no need to be jealous of one another. “But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and this be in defiance of and false to the Truth. This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal). For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity. And the harvest of righteous (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the see] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]. (James 3: 14-18 AMP) Jealousy then is by far a trick of the devil himself. Jealousy is nothing but an attempt to get folk off of their purpose and to cause confusion and division within the house of God. Stop being jealous, it does no earthly good at all but cause heart ache and pain. One comparing pastors and preachers with one another, who preachers better than who, who has the biggest church, the most member, who can sing and who cannot sing, they make more money and how come I cannot make what they make, or pray like they pray. One trying to copy another, talking about “give me some of that anointing you got!” Well, the truth is if you believe in God, the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit, you can have all the anointing you need to fulfill the purpose and calling upon your life. Jealousy exists as a tactic to divide and conqueror, when in fact the word tells us that we are conquerors. “Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” (Rom 8:37 AMP) So don’t give in to it, support the gospel of Jesus Christ moving forward instead of acting in the pretense of loving people yet you have hatred and jealousy in your heart. Test the spirit by the spirit. You have the indwelling Spirit of Jesus Christ in you, the Comforter, the Helper, you have power from on High, and you have the Holy Spirit as you confess to be a believer of Jesus Christ, the one who died on the cross for your sins. There is no time to be envious of one another, but all the time in the world to love and forgive as you, stop for a moment and get to know your purpose in life. When you do that, you truly will not have time to be upon everyone else’s business you will be kingdom minded and focus on serving and loving God and about the business of the Father in Heaven. Put that same energy that you would in trying to get even or stir the pot in others business and use it in spending time in the word. There is no need absolutely no need none what so ever to be a busy body nor full of jealousy when the God that you say you serve can bless you beyond measure, just like He blesses others, just do your part, be obedient to His word, His will and His way and stop hating on one another. Do the will of God in love, yes with an unconditional loving heart and watch how God will bless you and turn things around in your life. Don’t be mad at the success of others who are walking in the purpose by faith, you step out on faith and trust God to first deliver you from the schemes and plots that you have planned and ask Him to guide your steps and mend your broken heart, then jealousy with slowly dissipate from among the church and the believers who carry that spirit. Stand firm on the promises of God and allow your light to shine for Christ Jesus. “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16 AMP) All this is said in love and was placed in my spirit to share today driving home from work. Stop faking your relationship with God and others and truly and sincerely love one another. “This is what I command you: that you love one another.” (John 15:17 AMP) Don’t allow the 11 o’clock worship hour on Sunday around the nation remain a separate hour of separated worship, learn to worship God on one accord without the separation and envious but with a heart full of love and compassion for all of God’s people. 3. Just found this out of a prophetic word given to me by the Lord yesterday at my brother’s church about the spirit of Jezebel being amongst his congregation. It was revealed to me in three different ways yesterday while I received the spirit of discernment. I praise the Lord I found your passage. It truly helped me understand the other individual and how I need to approach the loving end of this type of spirit.
